The Paralyzed Veterans of America, founded in 1946, is a Congressionally chartered veterans’ service organization that has developed a unique expertise on many issues relating to the special needs of its members–veterans of the armed services who have experienced spinal cord injury or dysfunction

Established in 1985, The ALS Association is the only national nonprofit organization fighting ALS on every front. By leading the way in global research, providing assistance for people with ALS through a nationwide network of chapters, coordinating multidisciplinary care through certified clinical care centers, and fostering government partnerships, The Association builds hope and enhances quality of life while aggressively searching for new treatments and a cure.

ALS Ride For Life was founded in 1997 as a patient-driven, volunteer organization with the mission of raising research funds to find a cure for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), supporting patients and their families through patient services, raising public awareness and providing the community with the latest ALS news, information and inspiration.

Since 9/11, we have been helping America’s heroes by providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children and by building specially-adapted smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. We are also committed to eradicating veteran homelessness and helping America to Never Forget September 11, 2001.
